Forward Waste Management shortlisted for prestigious award

The National Recycling Awards is the largest and most prestigious awards ceremony in the recycling and resource management sector. Forward has been shortlisted in the Employee Training and Skills category for their work in ‘Bringing Values to Life’.

This process was designed and rolled out to reaffirm the five core values of trust, preparation, thoroughness, creativity and persistence that are at the heart of Forward. The firm energised these values over the last twelve months as part of the return to the new normal of work, post Covid, to invigorate existing colleagues and to encourage and steer new employees.

The winners will be celebrated a ceremony at City Central at the HAC, London, on November 16, where over 550 people are expected to attend.

Lyndon Ward, the founder and CEO at Forward said: "We are honoured to have been considered and shortlisted for this esteemed award. Being recognised in the Employee Training and Skills category is a real achievement for us, and we take immense pride in our efforts to 'Bring Values to Life.'

"This initiative has had a profound impact on strengthening our positive health and safety culture and reinforcing our colleagues' understanding of what sets Forward apart. For instance, it highlights how our company values serve as our guiding principles in delivering exceptional customer service and fostering a positive work environment.

"We are unwavering in our commitment to promoting a positive workplace, a core value that we hold in the highest regard. We are very much looking forward to celebrating our achievements at the ceremony later this month."
