With the ever expanding services offered and undertaken by Forward for our growing customer base, coupled with the increasing volumes of new waste types we handle from our headquarters in Cardiff, we needed to evolve our processes.
Hundreds of tonnes of recyclable materials are pass through our in-house transfer facility each day, we needed to look into more efficient ways of handling these waste streams. With this in mind, we have invested in a state of the art, JCB grab machine with 'up-cab' capability.
As our Operations Director, Steve Tipples explains, "investing in this new machinery not only provides our Cardiff waste processing team greatly improved safety due to it’s 'up-cab' capability, it also allows us to maximise our capacity and expand the types of waste streams that we can handle".
